• Graduated in Medicine from the
Rajah Muthaiah Medical College, Annamalainagar, Chidambaram.
• Post graduate diploma in Anaesthesiology from JJM
Medical College, Davangere, Karnataka.
• He worked in the department of cardiac anaesthesia
at Vijaya Heart Foundation, Chennai under the guidance
of Dr PSN Raju. He is trained in Coronary Artery Bypass
Graft- On and Off Pump (beating heart), Common congenital
heart diseases, Endo Ventricular Patch Plasty for LV
aneurysm, Vascular surgeries like carotid endarterectomy,
Femoro-popliteal and aortofemoral bypass surgery.

His professional experience scans over a period of 11
years, and over 9 years in the field of Anaesthesiology.
In this, he has spent in cardiothoracic anaesthesia
for more than 7 years with over 2000 cardiac cases to
his credit.
• He has also a vast experience in intensive care unit
including cardio thoracic intensive care and coronary
care units. He is good at interventional cardiac procedures.
• He has received special training in pain management
at Tata Memorial Cancer Institute, Mumbai. He is practicing
extensively, regional blocks and nerve blocks for intra
operative and postoperative care apart from pain management
of terminally ill cancer patients.
• He also performs procedures like percutaneous tracheostomy,
temporary pacing etc. He is maintaining the only well
known private set up for ventilator care center in this
region.
• He is training the paramedics for theatre technology
and perfusion technology students apart from in house
nurses.
• At AG Padmavati’s hospital in a short period he has
handled more than 275 surgeries which includes, CABGs,
Congenital heart surgeries like PDA, VSD, TOF, CTGA,
DORV, Valve replacements, Closed Mitral valvotomies,
PDA surgery, Lung resections, Thoracic tumors, Esophageal
Surgery, etc. Among the non cardiac cases this is the
only centre specializing in the non cardiac surgeries
in cardiac patients.
